• Redesiging an Existing Platform
Working with AN EHR/PRACTICE MANAGEMENT TECH COMPANY, MY TEAM COLLABORATED WITH THEIR PRODUCT TEAM TO REVAMP & REDESIGN THEIR POINT OF SALE PLATFORM, FOCUSING ON THE MEDSPA USE CASE
PERSONAS + REQUIREMENTS
Empathizing the users + interviews conducted to understand requirements
JOURNEY MAP
Visualizing the overall process + opportunities for feature enhancements
DESIGN + PROTOTPYE
Wireframes and Applied Design + Clickable Figma Prototype
My role as A DesignER focused on:
• Working with the client’s new in-house design resources to establish a modernized and inviting UI that could be used as the foundation for the company to apply similar branding updates across their suite of products
• Design highly responsive and reusable components to make the engineering build as efficient as possible given a short timeline that required developing both desktop and mobile screens
PERSONAs + SCOPE
Our initial approach centered around learning about the primary platform user and understanding the current state of the existing product relative to what functionality needed to remain and what new features could be introduced. Interviews and research findings included:
• ALLOW PERSONA The ability to multitask more efficiently by saving their work
• visualize both patient info as well as services/products in the same View
• Identify MVP SCOPE vs Future features
Journey MAP
With feature functionality and scope defined, mapping the user journey helped clients visualize where the pain points affected the process and how proposed opportunities could turn negatives into positives
