IMMERSIVE STUDENT MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

Ushering students from the classroom into a digital product creation environment

Given my background as an athlete working & coaching in youth, collegiate, and professional environments, I place great importance on mentorship as the most meaningful tool to develop relationships, skills, & experiences.

Collaborating with fellow colleagues & local collegiate professors, I led a group to create an immersive 8-week program, which invited students to learn & experience what it looks like to build digital products in a real-world technology environment.

FEATURES

The ProGRAM

KICKOFFS

Professors select teams of multi-disciplinary students that visit the Dialexa office for a program wide kickoff to introduce mentors & the product design prompt

SPRINTS

Students work thru 3 sprints over the course of several weeks - researching, conceptualizing, & designing a digital product to based on the design challenge

PRESENTATIONS

Concluding the program, each team returns to the Dialexa office to present their creation process, showcase their product prototype, & network with fellow students + mentors
